Resources from 2026 Volunteer Symposium
In February 2026, the Town of Minto hosted Connect, Create, Collaborate: Building Minto’s Volunteer & Cultural Future, a community symposium that brought together volunteer organizations, cultural groups, and community leaders from across Minto.
The symposium focused on sharing insights from the Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Project, highlighting best practices, and creating space for collaboration. Participants worked together to align a shared community calendar, explore new “try-it” program ideas, and build connections between organizations and available municipal supports.
The ideas, priorities, and partnerships that emerged from this symposium continue to inform how the Town of Minto supports volunteers and community organizations, and they serve as a foundation for the resources and tools shared on this page.
