Public Notice – Road Construction in Palmerston

The County of Wellington and the Town of Minto wish to advise the public that reconstruction of Main Street East (Wellington Road 123) between Toronto Street to Cumberland Street in Palmerston will begin the week of April 13, 2026, with completion anticipated by October 2026.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with two-way movement maintained under temporary traffic control. Toronto Street will be closed to through traffic.

Delays should be expected throughout the construction period.

Access to surrounding streets, including Stevenson Way and Bridge Crescent, will be maintained with temporary adjustments as required.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage for the safety of workers and the public.
