The Harriston Historical Society is excited to present the 9th Annual Headstone Hunt. This year's hunt will take place in the Harriston Cemetery only. The contest runs from June 11th to August 6th and there are three prizes available to be won. Find the entry form at the Harriston Historical Society room in the Harriston Public Library or on our website: https://www.harristonhistoricalsociety.com/ Please submit forms by email to info@harristonhistoricalsociety.com or drop off at the Harriston Historical Society room in the Harriston Public Library on the third floor. The winners will be announced at the Harriston Street party on Saturday, August 9th. If you love our headstone hunt, be sure to also participate in the Palmerston 150th Headstone & Plaque Hunt! We teamed up with the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum to create a headstone and plaque hunt that features notable individuals in Palmerston's history as well as its rich railway history.
